Beauty // Review: Nyx Lip Lingerie Teddy + Embellishment

    Hey lovelies,
The actual excitement I have to be blogging about my new favourite liquid babies is unreal!! whether you're a beauty enthusiast or not, there's no denying that liquid lipsticks are currently taking the world by storm. I've been a lover of everything matte lip since I first got into makeup and I'm so glad to see it's becoming such a big trend at the minute and lots of my favourite beauty brands are taking this on board with a whole heap of liquid lipsticks now available.

Considering the fact that there are so many liquid lipsticks to choose from online and in store, it can most definitely feel a little overwhelming when deciding which brands to go for. The Kylie Lip Kits are all everyone seems to be raving on about at the minute and with all the positive reviews and an out of this world colour range, why wouldn't they? I just wanted to share my current favourites from Nyx line of liquid lipsticks.

Nyx Lip Lingerie Teddy + Embellishment - Boots £6.50

When it was announced not long ago that Boots would be stocking Nyx online, I searched high and low on the internet for products from them that I just had to try. I'd watched a lot of YouTube videos of people from America who just couldn't get enough of this range and one of the main things that attracted me to it was that it not only has shades suited to every skin tone but a lot of the shades are the perfect nude tones for darker skin. Nyx literally came through with this range so they can take all of my money!!

I originally bought my first shade in Teddy, then when I realised just how incredible these really were I purchased Embellishment. Teddy appears on me as a cement brown and Embellishment as a subtle lilac. These feel so light on the lips and glide on perfectly. It's not a product that you have to keep coating on to get the full affect, within 1-2 coats it does its magic. The applicator has caused no trouble at all and really is the perfect length. I've been loving wearing lip liners every time I apply a lip product recently and I've found that the Barry M £2.99 lip liners look wonderful with these, whether it's just to line my lips or to blend together. I use 'Chocolate 6' to go with Teddy and 'Mulberry 9' to go with Embellishment. These have such a creamy texture to them which is perfect as having something non drying underneath your lips before applying a liquid lipstick helps them to stay nice and smooth! I'd highly recommend these, I have not one bad word to say on these.

Have you tried any of the Lip Lingerie shades?

What's your opinion?

  1. These are lovely! I wish that we had more NYX products in SA, these especially look like the gorgeous everyday lippy.
