What I Got For Christmas 2013.❤

                                                                                                    Hey beauts,
I totally haven't blogged in forever. Yesterday I enjoyed such a wonderful Christmas at home. I absolutely loved everything and every time I think of the food my mouth just waters, NOM! I love seeing videos and posts on what everyone got for Christmas and I was honestly so pleased and grateful with everything I got that I thought I'd also take part and show you lovelies my gifts.

Alexa Chung - IT Book
As soon as Alexa released It I had been so desperate to get my hands on it but with me buying different Christmas presents I couldn't yet buy it. I am so very happy that Ally bought this for me as I am such a big fan of Alexa Chung and I've heard some really amazing things about it. Alexa is such a big fashion icon to me so I cannot wait to get stuck into this.

Perfume & Lindt Chocolate
I love getting different perfumes for birthdays and Christmas. The precious woman one I received smells so amazing and has quite a vintage smell to it which I love. I really like experimenting with different perfumes and now that I've got quite a few it means that I can wear each on different occasions. Getting chocolate is always the best. I am a big fan of Lindt chocolates and I've already enjoyed a few this morning. I love when chocolate is acceptable to eat so early in the morning, haha.

Jewellery Box
I received this gorgeous jewellery box from my big sister which has already come in handy. I never have space to store the jewellery I own but now with this box I can definitely be much more organised and have everything in one place. She also then got me some lovely silver band rings which I adore then Ally got me the loveliest ring from Topshop. Next year I really want to just experiment more and I've been saying for quite sometime that I really want to start wearing more jewellery and I'm pleased I've got these goodies to help me get started.

H&M Bag
I actually couldn't be anymore happier with this bag. Ally and my friend Sian did such a great job picking this out for me. When I go out taking a bag is a must for me but I've been wanting one that wasn't too big or too small and this one is such the perfect size. It looks smaller in these pictures but it is so spacious and every time I go out this bad boy will be coming with me. I've decided to name her Carrie after Carrie Bradshaw. ;) If anyone's watched it this bag will be my bag like Carrie's from The Carrie Diaries just except I won't be splattering paint all over it.

Cat Necklace
I've mentioned it a lot of times but I freakin' love me some cats. This Topshop necklace was actually made for me. I want to start wearing more shirts and I think this will go so well tucked underneath a collar. My sisters really did such a great job at picking jewellery for me this year. I also tried it on yesterday and I love where it comes up to on me. It isn't too high by my neck.

Clothesminded Monochrome Boots & Topshop Snake Effect Boots
Finally, I couldn't believe my eyes when I received not one but two pairs of boots from Ally. I had been eyeing up these Clothesminded boots for ages as I'd seen really similar boots to these on different sites. I absolutely love anything monochrome and I own quite a lot of black clothes which I think these boots will go so well with. I always love the boots Topshop bring out and I'm really happy with these ones. I've never actually owned any snakeskin boots before so I'm really looking forward to styling these ones up.

I really did enjoy Christmas. I enjoyed seeing the look on everyone's faces when they opened up the gifts I got them. Christmas will always be my favourite time of year. Thanks a lot to my lovely mum, sisters and niece for an epic day. If you want to see some of the gifts I got Ally then make sure to head over to her blog and check out her latest post! :) Now it's time to start thinking about the new year and all those resolutions...!

Christmas Jumper Challenge❤

                                                                                                     Hey lovelies,
I haven't posted in nearly a month. I've missed blogging so much but college deadlines have well and truly taken over (even though I am yet to actually get started on the work..Ha). I can't wait for the Christmas break next week and I am too excited for Christmas. Today's post is actually a Christmassy one.

Christmas Jumper - c/o George At Asda/ Skirt - Asos/ Boots - New Look

I got the chance take part in a Blogger's Christmas Jumper Challenge with Talented Talkers and got to pick out a Christmas jumper from George at Asda. I think it was definitely one of the hardest decisions I've made in a long time, haha. I eventually picked out this super cosy and cute jumper from the men's section. I always find in anywhere I shop that I love shopping in both the men and women's sections. George have a whole range of Christmas Jumpers in so many great designs and in lots of different sizes.

I decided to pair my jumper with my favourite mustard skirt from Asos. It goes so well with the majority of the clothes I own. I think the colours work great together. I absolutely love the design on the jumper and that's definitely what made me pick it out. It's simple but super Christmassy and it's a jumper I know I'll pull out every year and wear. It's quite oversized but I do prefer my jumpers like this so you get that extra warmth. I also just had to add a red lip and I don't think it looks too much with the outfit.

What's your favourite Christmas jumper?

Christmas Eve Present Ideas
There are some Christmas traditions that you will have retained from your own childhood, and some which you have created yourselves and added to the season. Choosing the tree, decorating the house and watching Christmas films are all just as much a part of getting into the spirit as the actual day and gifts. One great tradition that many people have is opening one present on Christmas Eve. Families do this to get little ones excited about the day ahead and to go to bed dreaming of magical things, couples and friends may do this just because they can’t wait and this helps tide them over until the next morning. Whatever your reasoning, make sure you chose your Eve gifts wisely. Here are some ideas to get you thinking.

There is little better in the world than getting all snuggly on a winter evening, shutting out the world and just chilling out; except maybe doing all of that, but on Christmas Eve. Why not treat your loved one to some new pyjamas or a onesie from George to get really cosy in the night before, and you’ll have the added bonus of waking up in brand new PJs on Christmas morning. This is a great one for adults and kids alike; you’ll soon be hurrying to bed to wait for Santa, and in no rush to get dressed on Christmas day.

Bath Goodies
Christmas day is wonderful, but it can be a little stressful. Give someone the gift of relaxation this Christmas Eve with some nice smellies or bath products so they can unwind before the main event. There are tonnes of Christmas themed products too if you want to help them get into the festive mood, so go and have a good sniff of what’s available and find something which reminds you of Christmas.

Treat someone with the Christmas Eve tipple of their choice, after all, what better excuse is there than Christmas? Wrap a bottle of their favourite wine or spirit ready to crack open with a mince pie whilst doing the last of the wrapping. Or for kids or non-drinkers there are some fab hot chocolate kits with mugs, marshmallows, stirrers and everything you need, ready for them to enjoy before turning in on Christmas Eve.

Book or Film
Traditions are what you make of them, and they need to be about the whole experience rather than just the present or they become mechanical and stale. Why not wrap a Christmassy film for everyone to watch together, or if you have kids a book like the Night Before Christmas will go down well as a pre-Christmas gift and could soon become a big part of your Christmas Eve preparations.

Christmas Eve presents needn’t be lavish or expensive and they are really just a token and a teaser about what’s to come the next day. Find something you know the recipient will love, wrap it beautifully and pop it under the tree in anticipation of the festivities to come.
